It's a bank holiday and we are joining what seems like every other family in the UK and travelling on the motorways!
Apparently more than 15 million UK cars are going to be on the roads over the next four days.
Already, on the radio there is 55 miles of heavy traffic on the m25! We are heading north and luckily not going anywhere near the M25, but the traffic is awful. We have been going 2 hours and still have an awfully long way to go.
The children are busy watching movies and playing games. The car is stocked with supplies of drinks and snacks and the radio is on with songs to drive to!
At least with it being a bank holiday we don't have to make the return journey until Monday night (along with everyone else but we will try not to think of that now).
