Rain, Rain Go Away!

Its the half term holiday and its raining again!  Still we have had a fab day together.  Its been a surreal day with the children - they have got on well with each other today!  Up until today I seem to have spent my time this week solving arguments between the two of them and listening to them bickering about silly little things.

Due to the weather, we had a trip to The Clarks Village this morning in Street.  The children seemed very grown up.  They both looked at clothes and even wanted to try things on which is unheard of for Tom.  They suggested things for me and then even wanted to carry the bags!  (I have a very strange feeling about all this.)

We enjoyed a cup of tea and a pasty in the Presto Pasty shop, where they were kind to each other and shared their drinks and offered each other tastes of their pasties!  The couple on the next table even commented on how polite the children were!

On the way home, we stopped off in Glastonbury and had a look round the lovely Somerset Rural Life Museum.  It was still raining but there were lots of things to see and again no arguing, pushing or bickering!

Anyway we are back home now and still they are playing together nicely.  Its been a lovely day, so far, hopefully it will last for the rest of the holiday!  It has left me pondering though, maybe its the fact we are half way through the week and they are getting used to being with each other all day every day.

Or it could be the threat of no more Moshi Monsters!
