This week has seemed a busy one.
It is only Wednesday, but it seems a long while since the weekend.
This evening, after a busy day at work (its been hot and humid all day and not ideal for teaching a class of 6year olds) it was nice to collect the children from after school club early (well 5:15pm was earlier than normal for a Wednesday) and sit out in the garden.
Hubby was home too, and we all sat an enjoyed an ice lolly in the garden. It was very hot and humid but not particularly sunny but it put a smile on our faces and look at what we noticed in the garden.
Our new crab apple tree has fruit on it...
The strawberry plants have fruit on them...
The potatoes are showing through the top of the compost... We must harvest them soon.
And these plants we moved into the border from near the shed are flowering...
A lovely end to a hot busy day! Well, until bath time when Lottie had the biggest paddy ever because she was hot, tired and didn't want her hair washing!!!!
This is the view out of the window as I am sat typing... hopefully we are going to have a lovely day tomorrow and miss the thunder storms that are forcast!
